Mushroom Spawn Services
 
Directorate of Mushroom Research, Chambaghat, supply spawn of different commercially grown mushrooms namely white button mushroom, different species of oyster mushroom, milky mushroom, shiitake mushroom, paddy straw mushroom.  Spawn is generally made available after advance booking of 20 days. The advance booking is done after receiving 50 percent payment in advance.  The rate of spawn of different mushrooms is Rupees 80/- kilogram (Revised rates effective from 01.10.2018) .  Advance payment can be made online in the form of DD in favour of “ICAR Unit-NRCM” payable at State  Bank of Patiala, Chambaghat. Spawn of other mushrooms like wood ear mushroom (Auriculari polytricha), winter mushroom (Flammulina velutipes), Agrocybe aegerita, Ganoderma lucidum can also be made available after an advance booking of two months. Master spawn of all the commercially grown mushroom is also available @ Rupees 500/- per bottle of 250g. On the given date one has to collect spawn or master spawn from our Directorate personally as there is no provision of sending spawn through post or courier as there is every chance of its spoilage during the transport.
